Meet the Folks at KEI

Timothy is the founder and President of KEI. Tim started in the electrical trade in 1979, by joining the US Navy as a Construction Electrician in the SeaBee’s (CB’s). After five years in the CB’s he worked for an electrical contractor as an electrician, estimator, and project manager until 1990. In 1991 he started his career in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) as an Electrical Supervisor and retired from the FBOP as a General Foreman in 2011.

While employed with the BOP he acquired his Washington State Certifications for Electrician EL01, Administrator, Master Electrician ME01, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from AIU.

In 2000 he started Krouse’s Electrical as a sole proprietorship. Then partnered with C&S Electric, Inc. in 2007 until they discontinued operations, in Washington State, in 2015. In May 2015 he founded Krouse’s Electric, Inc. and continues to manage this business.
